The puppies are so cute (havent played kittens) but I usually just go with dogs to avoid the stair problem, since I either play aging off or long. Which is unfortunate because they’re adorable!! I think in sims 3 or sims 2 (one of them) a puppy or a kitten couldn’t go up the stairs in front of my house with steps on it. Id just carry it up.
