You can merge one or more members of the bin family to your household by clicking the green icon over your Sim’s house. Now you only need Shift + left-click on a Sim in the game and select Add to Active Household. Moving Sims Out or Moving to a New Home. The above options for Edit Town apply here.

Yeah you can, as you enter from the main menu click on the household you wish to add a sim to, click more and at the bottom there will be a “manage household” option.

I play one household per game. Each generation has one or two kids only. When the kids age up I pick one to play and save the other kid to my library. If there is a sibling I go into CAS and delete the sibling so he is not in the game any more.
Is there a cheat to make sims from different households?
If they aren’t part of your household you would have to be on the same lot as the sim you want to make a sibling, add them to your household, then make them a sibling and then move that sim out.
