In all my years of gaming with steam I’ve never had a game just not run. if it makes any difference, my previous machine was an ASUS g74X with windows 7, GTX 560M and all that jazz.

Is the dawn of war game of the Year Edition?

Basically comes with all the warhammer 40k games expansions and dlc. But the games wont launch. Dawn of War 1 and its expansions will begin, but immediately shrink into the task bar without running.
Why is dawn of War 2 not loading?
As for Dawn of War 2, when I ran it through, it told me I was missing a file titled d3dx9_39.dll. I’ve already tried the verify game cache strategy and it won’t fix the problem.
