you have to go into pet care and then go for a walk. the sim will automatically leash them and take them out, even in an apartment. i really hope they let you hire a dog walker bc it’s really high maintenance. or at least let you walk multiple pets at once because i have two dogs. 😡

The puppies are so cute (havent played kittens) but I usually just go with dogs to avoid the stair problem, since I either play aging off or long. Which is unfortunate because they’re adorable!! I think in sims 3 or sims 2 (one of them) a puppy or a kitten couldn’t go up the stairs in front of my house with steps on it. Id just carry it up.
