@eyjaeva You can download and install and run Sims 4 without the disc. Origin is the DRM and you can download the game through Origin. All you need is the code to activate the game and once activated the game can be downloaded through Origin.

Without using Origin, start your game from the The Sims 3 icon and do not log in when the launcher opens. Click the play button on the left side of the Sims 3 Launcher. Once you get to the main menu where you can select a town to play your game in, do no log in there either.

@MadiJara TS4 does come in disc. I bought my as disc but I redeemed the code and in Origin and installed as digital download from Origin. You have to have Origin to play so even if you install from disc you will have to install Origin.
