To enable TestingCheats, open the console with Left CTRL+Shift+C (press/hold with one fluid motion in that order) or by pressing all four shoulder buttons on console. Once the white box appears, type testingcheats on. To disable testing cheat, type testingcheats off.
How do I enable cheat?
To do this, follow the steps below:
- While in game, press “Command + Shift + C” on your keyboard to open the cheat input box.
- Type in “testingcheats on”, then press “Enter” on your keyboard to enable cheats.
- Open the cheat input box again to enter a cheat code.
Is there a cheat to make testingcheats always true?
You have to redo it after every travel or CAS use though. There is a mod on MTS that makes testingcheats ALWAYS true, which is nice if you are doing some tweaking. But, regardless, it definitely works. CTRL+SHIFT+C –> testingcheats true, and you should get a confirmation. Re: The cheat TestingCheatsEnabled true doesn’t seem to work in The Sims 4.
What can you do with the testingcheatsenabled option?
Players can also use testingcheatsenabled to control Sims that are not part of the household with the Make Selectable option, or they can temporarily remove household members with the Make Unselectable option. This option allows the player to control newborn babies, who are not normally controllable.
Is the testingcheatsenabled true cheat still working in Sims 4?
SO, it is just me or does the testingcheatsenabled true cheat not work anymore in the Sims 4. I used to use it (more then I probably should have) in the Sims 3 and when I tried to see if I could use it (being curious) when I first bought the game I couldn’t get it to work…..
Do you have to put testingcheats on every time you go through loading screen?
Or am I just REALLY dumb. It’s just testingcheats true & it works fine. The command has changed to “testingcheats true”, and needs to be put in every time you go through a loading screen. I don’t know if it’s just me but in my game I have to put testingcheats on for it to work instead of true.

How do you test cheats in Sims 3?
Make your Sim and get them into their house. Save the game once they’re moved in, then head back to the main menu. Before you load your Sims 3 saved game again, open the cheat console (Control + Shift + C) and type testingcheatsenabled true. Once you load your Sims game, the testing cheats will still be on.
