I bought a disc copy of The Sims 3, or a The Sims 3 expansion or stuff pack on disc

Is it possible to UN-register a Sims 3 code?

Because the game is installed through Origin it is not possible for the previous user to un-register the code and pass it on. They are one time use codes now. That’s ridiculous.

All you will use on Origin (assuming you’re playing Sims3 through Origin) are the Keys for the Expansions and Stuff Packs.

If you have EPs/SPs on Origin, that will mean you must install 1.69 to use the EPs/SPs or play on 1.67 without those packs. This shouldn’t be a problem if you own the EPs/SPs on DVD but if you only own the Origin versions of those games, you’re probably out of luck. Alternatively, you could play The Sims 3 on Steam.

Yes & NO. You can buy the DLC or Expansions and Activate on Origin without issue. However, in oprder to do so you must own the base Sims 3 game on STEAM in order to view the CD Key and purchase it. I had it and play it on Origin as well,…
