As far as I know, this involves 4 steps:
- register all Steam-purchased Sims 3 DLC on Origin.
- uninstall Steam version of Sims 3 (and all its DLC)
- purchase Sims 3 on Origin (currently $5) ***
- install Origin version of Sims 3 (and all the DLC)
