All you have to do is create the pet in CAP (Create a Pet), the same place where you create Sims. It will appear in the bin. Merge the pet(s) in with the family you want to have the pet(s) by clicking on the pet in the bin, then onto the house where family is, and choose the Merge option. That’s all you have to do.
