- Mark and Place Scent Posts. To claim an unclaimed hex as your territory, create a scent post by marking (urinating on) the same spot twice with the ‘P’ key.
- Howl, Hunt, Fight, or Hang Out.
- Take Over Territory.
- Maintain a Strong (but not too Strong) Territory.
- Establish Territory Quest Complete!
How do you get your pups across the river in WolfQuest?
Before you grab a pup, find a shallow spot in the river. So instead of having that risk, you’ll need to find the shallow spot, and fast. Sometimes your mate will bring the pup to you while you’re in the water. If this happens, run to it as quick as you can and take it out before it dies. Feed it and continue.
How many elk do you have to kill in WolfQuest?
The easiest way is to kill 8 elk. If you approach a herd of elk, the ones with lower health will run away. Chase them, as these are the easiest to kill. The bull elk is a lot harder to kill, so don’t go after it until you have a mate.
How do you create a scent post in WolfQuest?
To set a scent post, a player must urinate once to set a basic scent mark, then peeing again over that same scent mark. If done correctly, a scent post should appear on that spot in scent vision and an icon will become visible on the compass.
How do you get a den in WolfQuest Anniversary Edition?
There are three ways to find dens:
- By sight, looking for snow/dirt mounds and nooks under tree roots or rocks.
- Follow the den icon on your compass (see below)
- Use scent view. Dens emit scents (floating den icon) which float downwind like other scents, so you can track these back to the source to find the den.

When hunting for food for your pups there is the option to go to the ranch and kill a calf for food. You have to sneak round the cows and strike the calf.

What should I do if I find a den in WolfQuest?
Consider circling the area when the den radar detects a den in the “hot” or “close” phase. If the den is nearby, the player should at least manage to find the site’s scent spores. Pay close attention to the environment.
