Steps
- Find the lot for the job you want your Sim to get. Go into Map View, find the lot that offers the career track your Sim wants, and click on its icon.
- Select Join [x] Career.
- Wait for your Sim to go to the lot.
- Click on Accept Career to accept a job.
Can you call off work in Sims 3?
With your Sim’s cell phone, you can have your Sim quit his or her job, or take unpaid time off. You can take one, three, or five days off.
Can you have a full time job in the Sims 3?
A Sim cannot hold a part-time and a regular full-time job at the same time. Teens and elders can work part-time jobs in all three games, whereas young adults and adults can only work these jobs in The Sims 3 and The Sims 4 .
Can a teenager get a part time job in the Sims 4?
In The Sims 4, teenagers and older can work part-time jobs. Part-time jobs do not interfere with a teen’s school schedule, but they can’t have a job and enroll in an afterschool activity simultaneously. Sims older than teenagers can work up to two part-time jobs, provided their schedules don’t interfere. Part-time jobs all have three levels.
How long does it take to get a full time job?
Organizations can choose a historical period of three to 12 months to assign a full-time status to workers if they averaged 30 or more hours during that period of time. Once designated as full-time, employers must keep workers in that status for at least six months.
What kind of jobs can you get in the Sims 4?
