What do the sage medallions do?
The Sage Medallions represent the awakening and power of their respective Sages. Link obtains each of them after awakening a new Sage, whose powers are symbolically added to those of Link. Each Sage Medallion bears the emblem and color of its respective element, and has the Triforce emblazoned on its back.
Who are the medallions?
Green – who walked with a cane as a result of childhood polio – put together a singing group with three friends from Fremont High School, Andrew Blue (tenor), Randolph Bryant (baritone), and Ira Foley (bass), and named them the Medallions because of his own penchant for wearing medallions around his neck.
Are the sages in OoT dead?
The Ancient Sages were most likely killed in the AT and DT by Ganondorf after he entered the Sacred Realm, (considering we see them in the CT with the same symbols as the OoT ones, and Rauru is the only one left when Link woke up) hence why the OoT ones had to be awakened in the first place.
Is Rauru dead?
This is the case in the noncanonical Ocarina of Time manga, in which Rauru states that his body has withered and died long ago, and that only his soul remains.
Where do you find the medallions in Ocarina of time?
The Medallions’ symbols reappear throughout Ocarina of Time, as they are visible in warp points for teleport songs, surrounding the Pedestal of Time, the pedestal where each Sage stands in the Chamber of Sages, as well as in the top of the barrier doors in Ganon’s Castle. On the back of each medallion is the ever present Triforce symbol.
How to get to the spirit temple in Ocarina of time?
Push the statue near the door that you came in through off the ledge and down onto the blue switch. Stand on the center platform between the two unlit torches and use Din’s Fire to cause a treasure chest to appear. Open up the treasure chest to obtain the Dungeon Map for the Spirit Temple.
How does the Ocarina of time work in Zelda?
This Ocarina vanishes when Link receives the Ocarina of Time, making it an item only used by Young Link. There is no real difference between this and the Fairy Ocarina, other than its size, color, and its ability to open the Door of Time once the Song of Time is played at the Pedestal of Time.
