How are other Sims affected by alien abduction?
Other Sims will not be affected by the abduction, though they may acquire memories of it, with Knowledge Sims gaining a positive memory of the abducted Sim having met aliens. Additionally, to be abducted (or have a relative abducted) is often a want for Knowledge Sims, and a fear for others.
Can a SIM be abducted at any time in the night?
A Sim can be abducted at any time during the night as long as they’re stargazing. Certain hours don’t raise or lower the chances. Keep them stargazing the entire night, if possible. The longer your Sim stargazes, the higher the chance of abduction is. However, if they stop for any reason and then start again, the chance of abduction resets.
When is the best time to abduction Sims?
So start your Sim stargazing as soon as it gets dark. There is no optimum time during the night. People come up with times (between midnight and 4am, usually) but there’s nothing in the coding for that. To maximize the chance of abduction you have to have them star-gaze all night without stopping.
What are the chances of getting abducted in the Sims?
There is a 2% chance a Sim will get abducted at night. An additional +13% chance will be added if the Sim stargazes through a telescope, and an extra +38% chance will be added for each space rock in a Sim’s inventory, up to +75%. When an abduction occurs, multi-colored sparkles will appear in the sky.
How does alien abduction work in the Sims 2?
By default, alien abduction is disabled in The Sims Castaway Stories, but it can be enabled with mods, and male pregnancy works in the game. In The Sims 2 for consoles, alien abduction works as in Bustin’ Out, except that abducted Sims will vomit and will yell at other Sims for no apparent reason. The Sim will not become pregnant or have a baby.
What happens if a SIM is abducted in Skyrim?
If the Special Event Camera is enabled, this will trigger a cutscene. Otherwise, a bluish beam will appear, and the Sim will be pulled upward into the unseen UFO, while attempting to hold on to the telescope. After 3 Sim hours, the abducted Sim will be returned.
Can you still get abducted in the Sims after Bon Voyage?
This cheat does not work after Seasons, or Bon Voyage is installed. It also will not result in the Sim having the memory of alien abduction, but will still result in pregnancy for male adult Sims 6 or more days away from the elder stage.
