Once your Sim fertilizes the land, then you’ll need to plant your crops. Again, click the soil, then choose “Plant Many…” and choose a crop. You may only have one or two to choose from at first, but so it goes. Your Sim will get busy, and will probably wind up running out of time to do the next step in the same day.
How do you tend plants in the Sims 2?
Take your farmer Sim, click one of your plants, and choose “Tend Many.” Again, your Sim will go about and tend every single plant, weeding everything in sight. With that done, choose a crop, then select “Water Many.” One more time, your Sim will deal with the entire area at once. This is the routine for the rest of the plants’ lives.

Enter Grab mode at the bottom of the Plans menu. Then select the item, hit the square button, and it will bring up a menu where you can either delete the item or put it in your inventory. Shelter Resources Plans for the different shelters require alot of resources to be in your inventory, especially later in the game.
