What happens when you ask a SIM to move in?
This will enable an interaction called “Ask to Move In” in the friendly category. Doing this interaction on the sim will cause a move in screen to pop up, showing every sim from both households. This allows any sim to go from one household to the other, as well as giving the other household simoleons.
Is there a way to merge two Sims into one?
There’s also an option to move out an entire Household and Merge it with another Household. After you move all the Sims from the left side to the right side, you’ll get an option asking you if you want to sell the furniture from the left side’s Household and transfer it to the merged Household. It’s up to you!
How do you change the family in a SIM?
Then, choose save sim. ( click the three dots at the bottom of the screen.) this will save the sim to the bin. Then make a new file, choose create a new household, then add pre made sim. Then click custom sim. Then, add other sims. You should then be able to replace the new family with the old family in the household
How do you move a SIM into a new house?
If your new house is “empty” (not occupied by a Sim) then you tap on the grey house icon and an option to move a Sim comes up. The Sim you want to move in can not be doing anything at the time. Their face should show up as an option to “relocate”.

This means you can move a few Sims who live in the same house to a new lot (a pair or a family of three or four). Once you move the Sims to a new lot, a blue icon will show above their old house where you can add another Sim if you want. Tapping on this option will cause the lot to be deleted.
Where do you go to move your Sims in Sims 4?
When you’re done, your Sims will be in the new home. You can find your belongings in the Household Inventory (bottom left button in Buy Mode).
