What you want to do is open the game, then go into task manager, click on details, find Rome, right click, go to set affinity and make sure it’s only running on one cpu core.

Need presets in the diplomacy menu to stop this. For straight turn times I think it must be how people have their PC configured since I’m averaging 20-40 seconds from turn 1 to turn 90 with a 4790K but I see people with newer/faster PC saying it is taking them over 80 seconds. so imo the most important thing for warhammer is to have 4 cores at the fastest speed possible. well ofc having more cores will help you to multitask diffrent stuff at the same time.
