His scythe stuff can be guarded, and you’ll want to guard the spin attack so that you have a chance to use the RC, Stand to his right (opposite side of the scythe) to do a reaction command that will do massive damage. Use the RC near the scythe to restore some of your counter. Whenever you provoke a counterattack and he warps, get ready to guard.
