A user can have up to 6 pets in one household. This also extends the maximum amount of sims in a household from 8 to 10. There are new professions for sims such as “Horse Handler”. Pets also comes with wildlife, but they cannot be added to households.

From experience I can tell you that anything more than 10 Sims is a huge headache and if you go into CAS with more than 8 sims – when you exit CAS you will lose anything over 8. It seems that it doesn’t work properly, or at least you have to be careful. I used the mod MC Comand Center and rised the maximum sims on household from 8 to 15. I had a household with 9 members, BUT when I click on a mirror and selected “Change Sim”, one of them disappeared!
