The series debuted on Cartoon Network in the United States on December 6, 2002, and ended on on January 21, 2008, with the special episode, “Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S.”.
Why did they stop KND?
W wanted to save the story for the movie, but convinced himself that if the series got cancelled, he would never get a chance to use this story. As such he decided to use the story for Operation: E.N.D. while the movie would later become what we know as Operation: Z.E.R.O..
