How do you get Sims 3 on Steam?
Once you buy the game, you login to Steam, go to your library, click on the Sims 3 entry, then the cog wheel (in the red box, below), then Manage, then CD Keys. You’ll see a 20-character code for each pack you’ve bought, and another one for the base game, if you ever want to register your second copy.
Is the Sims 3 on sale for full price?
And here we go! Now this is the Autumn Sale and still The Sims 4 is on discount but not The Sims 3. The Sims 3 is an 11 year old game! Why would I pay full price for an 11 year old game!? Especially when it’s not like The Sims 3 Store is maintained at all…Simpoints also never go on sale.

@itsdevinboi EA never announces sales in advance, and Sims 3 expansion packs are only rarely on sale. A better bet would be Steam, where packs are as low as $5 each during the usual mega sales.

Where do I enter my Sims 3 code?
To register the codes, open your Origin game library, click Add a Game in the upper right corner, then input each code. Alternately, you can register the codes on the old Sims 3 store site (store.thesims3.com), which still works quite well.
