It’s the most complete package possible, feels right at home on the Switch and is just as fun now as when it first released. Whether you’ve played it before are visiting Paradise City for the first time, it’s 100% worth your time playing, but damn it, it just left me wanting a brand new Burnout game.

The main downtown area of Paradise City is very reminiscent of the downtown tracks in the last couple games, while the western section of the city harkens back to the long, winding, countryside courses of past games as well. A couple of highways will put you dead in the middle of traffic and give you plenty of road to get up to speed on.
What’s the difference between Burnout Paradise and Showtime?
Whereas crash mode was sort of like a puzzle mode in the way it made you create elaborate car crashes out of painstakingly built traffic designs, showtime is the polar opposite. These are elaborate car crashes born from little more than a bunch of nearby cars and your ability to control what is, in essence, a sentient car wreck.
