As it stands, no one was satisfied by the final product. The fighting game community was alienated by the team-based gameplay, the Dissidia fans were alienated by the unfamiliar gameplay style, and anyone without a solid Internet connection couldn’t enjoy the game at all.

Does anyone play Dissidia?
The honest answer: no. Almost all online play is filled with bots except at the highest levels, and the game is basically completely dead outside of Japan (and pretty much dead in Japan too).
Does Dissidia NT have single player?
Yes, effectively everything Offline is you plus bots vs other Bots, including story mode, arcade, etc. You can do 1 v 1 too but the game is not balanced for it.
