Common Sense Media: Common Sense Media gives The Sims 4 a suggested age of 13+, stating that there are “lots of sexual themes, including skimpy outfits, flirting, kissing, but no nudity” and that “sex is performed entirely under the covers”.
Is The Sims 2 kid friendly?
Very fun but iffy. It can teach kids good values. Though this game is definatly not for kids under age 12 as this game is a lot more graphic than the 1st sims, but I don’t think it’s an issue really. You can’t really see anything.

For the most part, The Sims 3 could be an E-rated game. However, there are a few inappropriate parts in it, such as mild violence, and especially sexual references. If this feature were not included, it could be rated E-10. It also has mild peril, like fires in it.

The Sims 2 is a fantastic answer to the original game, delivering just the right amount of tuning to perfect Will Wright’s vision without messing too much with the original formula. This game will make Sims fans ecstatic and may even attract some new ones with its improved look and sound and easier to maintain population.
Is there any violence in the Sims 2?
There is not much violence and no bad language in the game (the characters speak in a made up language), but characters are able to have sex (woohooing), which isn’t too explicit, but it’s obvious what it is. This review… This game is with characters that have sex, you can hear the sex sounds.

The soundtrack isn’t much different from the music of the original Sims, but the Sims language, Simlish, has received some polishing. As in The Sims, children can be left at home alone without the need of a babysitter/nanny. They also have no curfew, so they can stay outside of their homes for as long as they desire.
