Can mages use staffs?
Because they specialize in magic, mages can wield few weapons: only wands, daggers, one-handed swords, staves, and off-hand items (no off-hand weapons of any kind).
What weapons can Mages Transmog?
Mages and Warlocks will be able to transmog their wands to daggers and swords. This discovery was added along with a slew of Druid form customization updates at the barbershop in the most recent build: Druid of the Flame, Kul Tiran Moonkin Tints, and Druid Artifact Appearances.

Should mages use wands?
Wands are very important for Mages who are leveling, before level 35 or so, at which point their damage starts to fall off greatly compared to your spells. They will always be useful when finishing targets off or while regenerating Mana / waiting for the tank to build up threat, regardless.
Can you Transmog a dagger to sword?
Priests, based on this screenshot, can transmog to their other mainhand weapon types: daggers and 1H maces. Mages and Warlocks will be able to transmog their wands to daggers and swords.
Does pendulum of doom still drop?
Pendulum of Doom is very rare drop from Uldaman. Patch 2.3. 0 reduced the level of mobs in this instance, making either: a.) the item extremely hard to come by since there are only a very small number of mobs in the instance that can drop it or b.)
Is Glowing Brightwood Staff good?
This staff is probably one of the best pre-raid staves to get for any caster. Once it is replaced, I would recommend using this for NR if needed.
