What kind of halter do you use on a horse?
Halters consist of a noseband and headstall that buckle around the horse’s head. They are looser than bridles (hence why riding in one offers insufficient precision and control) and are made for a horse to be led or tied. Some owners may choose to use leather or breakaway halters to turn their horses out with for easier capture later on.
