Should I play Wolfenstein old blood first?
From a story perspective (time-line), it makes more sense to play the Old Blood first. But it is not required, and you can play in any order you choose.
Why is it called Wolfenstein?
Castle wolfenstein was (according to the game) a heavy concentration of nazi soldiers and considered inescapable. So they probably used wolfenstein to denote that it was the wolf’s den/lair (I also think Hitler was thought of like wolf). And in the game (as in real life) castles are made of stone. So wolfenstein.
Will Wolfenstein 3 be the last?
Wolfenstein 3 is the final game in the rebooted series that takes place after Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Wolfenstein: Youngblood. The game will finish the trilogy. Bethesda’s Pete Hines has confirmed that Youngblood is a side story, which “moves ahead in the timeline.
