History. The demo was released on October 31, 2007. The first episode of the game was released on December 21, 2007 as a free downloadable game for Macintosh and Windows computers. Amethyst Mountain Deluxe (version 1.6) was released on April 23, 2008.

How do I get to Lost River from Slough Creek?

While you can optionally find a dispersal wolf and bond with them in Lost River, you cannot migrate to Slough Creek. This is intentional; realistically, the distance between Lost River and Slough Creek is never specified. There is no way of knowing whether your wolf and its mate would survive the journey.

Where does the Slough Creek Trail start and end?

Trailheads: On the dirt road toward Slough Creek Campground; where the road bears left, park beside the vault toilet. This is a 3.4-mile (5.4-kilometer) there-and-back trail that begins and ends at the same trailhead. Entrance fees may apply, see Fees & Passes information.

When is the best time to go fishing at Slough Creek?

Some sites are located in the trees, some in an open meadow, and some along the banks of Slough Creek. Sites often fill by 8 am from opening day (usually mid-June) through mid-September. Slough Creek is a very popular stream for fishing.
