- copy the files of the downloaded sims into your Library Folder which is found in – Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3.
- If u installed the sim (i download from thesims3.com so i don’t know ho to do it on that) you just need to go to create a sim then choose premade sims and it will probably be there.

When I switched computers, after reinstalling the Sims all I did was move the DCCache folder, Library Folder, Saved Sims Folder, Mods Folder and Saved Games to the new game folder that was created when I reinstalled.
