SIM files go in My Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims. Make the folder if you don’t have it already. If you’re in the Game\Bin and Mods\Packages areas then you’re in Program Files, which isn’t right.

How do you change an image in Sims 3?

This Sim is already outside of Create a Sim and is now a Family. You can send the Sim to the mirror or dresser and while in Create a Sim- use the upload option on their thumbnail. Then you go to your mypage and on the top right corner of your current avatar is a button you click to choose avatar, just choose from uploaded avatars in the drop down.
Can you edit a SIM in the Sims 3?

Can you change your username on the Sims 3?
Changing your username/ID on the EA website does change it for EA but not The Sims 3 website. They are only linked together; not one in the same. Unfortunately, I have tried for a few years to change mine on The Sims 3 but it have not found a way to do so.
